The Rutland Cutting Edge is an organization based out of Rutland, VT for adult women who play ice hockey! We range from those just learning the sport, to those who grew up on skates. Our players span in age from early 20’s to 50+.
The Rutland Cutting Edge was started by Cheryl LeBlanc, Harriet Parot and Cindi Wight in 2003. The team has now grown to a full house league and travel team with practices every Sunday during the winter season. Our primary ice is at Spartan Arena.
Our house team plays on Thursdays and the travel team plays on a variety of nights.
We host a Learn to Play Hockey session during various times of the year and both men and women are welcome to participate in Learn to Play. Once you take one session of Learn to Play you are welcome to jump into our House League!
